Superstar Travis Scott announces return of wildly popular Astroworld Fest in Houston
Last year, Travis Scott launched the Astroworld Festival in his hometown of Houston, and it was a smashing success. (Forty thousand were reportedly in attendance.) So, now, it’s time for him to get things going for the second annual fest, happening on Saturday, November 9.
The festival will return to NRG Park, just across the street from a now-defunct Six Flags, which inspired the name of Scott's double-platinum 2018.
Scott is once again keeping the list of performers close to the vest. He didn't share the names of last year's performers — which included Lil Wayne, Post Malone, Young Thug, Sheck Wes, and others — until the day before the event. But we already know this year's headliner: Scott, of course.
A portion of proceeds Astroworld Festival will be donated to the festival’s official charity partner, Workshop Houston. This nonprofit creates transformative educational opportunities through hands-on, project-based learning — including lessons in music production and recording, robotics and computer programming, fashion and graphic design, as well as tutoring and academic support.
General admission (starting at $89) and VIP (starting at $250) passes are available for purchase here.
Fans are encouraged to purchase their passes now, as last year’s event sold out in advance, and ticket prices will continue to rise as the festival approaches.
