Shelley Bueche was born in Houston in 1958, and she and her family moved toAustin in 1960. She has witnessed this city exponentially grow from a smallcollege slacker town into today's booming metropolitan area. One day she mournsthe "old Austin" of yesteryear as many longtime Austinites do, and the next dayshe is frequenting a new establishment and delighting in all that Austin has tooffer.
