Where to Shop
Peek inside the brand-new Nordstrom at Domain Northside before it opens
Attention shoppers: There's a new Nordstrom in town. Austin's second Nordstrom department store will open at Domain Northside, the new shopping and entertainment complex in North Austin, this Friday. Before the store opens to the public, we've got a peek inside the new space and all that it offers.
The new store carries the brands that Nordstrom shoppers know and love — including Madewell and Topshop. Additionally, it will be one of only 16 stores in the United States that carries J. Crew clothing. For shoe lovers, the store offers five departments for footwear: three for women, one for men, and one for kids.
Those in a rush don't even have to shop in the store. You can pick up your online order in-store at the pickup counter, which has designated parking spots to make it even more convenient. The service bar also has its own dressing rooms, so you can make sure your new outfit is the perfect fit before taking it home. Curbside pickup is available for online orders; just call or text to let the store know you're there, and they'll bring the order to your car.
To top off the personalized experience, Nordstrom offers the complimentary services of a personal stylist for shoppers who are busy or need a professional's advice. Stylists will also be in place in the beauty department to hand-select items and will even apply shoppers' makeup with a complimentary tutorial.
And for the perfect personalized gift, the store has an onsite leather embossing machine to stamp wallets, bags, or accessories.
If you've worked up an appetite after all that shopping, Bazille, a full-service restaurant and bar, serves appetizers, salads, brick oven pizzas, entrees, house-made desserts, and a children's menu. There's also Ebar for coffee, espresso, tea, and fruit smoothies.
"We’re excited to be able to bring two great food offerings to our customers when we open our doors at Domain Northside," said Vincent Rossetti, national director of restaurant division operations at Nordstrom. "Whether they are looking for a quick bite to eat or a full-service meal, we strive to provide our customers with a high-quality food and beverage experience at a great value."
Nordstrom at Domain Northside opens at 10 am on Friday, September 30. Take a peek inside via the slideshow above.
