After a year-long absence, Dog & Duck Pub has opened the doors of its new location in East Austin. The announcement came via a short-and-sweet social media post on Monday.

The campus-area favorite served beer and pub food on 17th Street for over two decades; the bar left its longtime home in the fall of 2014. Since then, pub patrons have been waiting for owners Susan Forrester and Jeff McKillop to finish renovations at a new locale at 2400 Webberville Rd.

The reincarnation retains the same English pub feel, from the tin ceiling and cozy interior to the eclectic range of beers on tap. The biggest change is on the menu, which now includes breakfast.

The restaurant will open for breakfast service at 7 am on weekdays and 10 am on weekends. Daily specials — such as Guinness Mondays and Texas Saturdays — will be featured in the bar, open until midnight Sunday through Friday and 1 am on Saturday.

You can find the new Dog & Duck Pub near Gourmand's and The Lost Well.
