Local legends team up for the ultimate Austin food and music festival
Now this sounds tasty: Two of Austin's favorite things will combine at the city's newest festival.
Hot Luck, a new live music and food fest, will take place May 18-21, reports Austin360. Aaron Franklin (Franklin Barbecue), James Moody (co-founder of Fun Fun Fun Fest, owner of The Mohawk); and Mike Thelin (of premier food festival Feast Portland) have teamed up to put on the affair.
A wide variety food events and concerts will take place at venues across the city, but the centerpiece will be a live-fire cooking event, says Austin360. The structure of the fest is set up so attendees can choose their own adventure; tickets will be made available to individual happenings.
More details, including the live music lineup, list of participating chefs, and ticket prices, will be announced in the coming weeks. Tickets, says the festival website, are coming soon.
