Band Together Texas
Star-studded benefit concert in the works for Central Texas flood victims
Big-name musicians are banding together to help our neighbors in the wake of the Central Texas floods.
On Friday, plans for a massive benefit concert featuring Ray Wylie Hubbard, Aaron Behrens (of Ghostland Observatory), Blue October and Midnight River Choir were announced. The #BandTogetherTX show, presented by San Marcos Toyota and Woods Comfort Systems, will take place Sunday, June 7 at The Marc in San Marcos.
More names are expected to be added to the bill, but tickets are on sale now.
General admission tickets are $25 each. For $100, attendees score a meet and greet with Blue October. VIP packages, ranging from $1,000-$3,000, are also available. All ticket proceeds will go directly to flood victims via United Way of Hays County.
