What: Fifth Annual True Colors event
Where: 800 Congress
The lowdown: The Anti-Defamation League Austin recently hosted its fifth annual True Colors event, honoring the inspiring efforts of four young leaders. Virginia Cumberbatch, Lisa and Dan Graham, and Jared Lindauer were celebrated for their work to advance social justice and civil rights.
Guests were treated to food from top Austin restaurants, as well as sips from Herman Marshall Whiskey, Texas Keepers Cider, and Mighty Swell Cocktails. Scott Strickland provided tunes for the evening, and artist Ami Plasse delighted with a live graffiti installation. Proceeds benefit the Anti-Defamation League Austin’s programs, including the No Place For Hate anti-bullying initiative in over 300 Central Texas schools.
