Rodeo Austin reveals all-star music lineup for 2017
It's time to rodeo, y'all. In anticipation of the annual event running March 11-25, Rodeo Austin has revealed its 2017 Main Stage Concert Series lineup, which features a host of big-name country acts alongside a few surprises.
Dwight Yoakam kicks things off on March 11, followed by Charley Pride on March 12 and Kenny Rogers on March 19. Joining the country stalwarts on the lineup are indie pop band Fitz and the Tantrums (March 15), Bobby Bones and the Raging Idiots (March 16), and Patti LaBelle (March 22). Texas country star Kevin Fowler closes the series during the ProRodeo finals on March 25.
Tickets start at a reasonable $20 and include entry to the ProRodeo and the concert. They go on sale Friday, January 13, at 10 am and can be purchased online or by calling 512-477-6060.
