New drive-in movie theater cruises into hot Austin suburb
KVUE — Hutto residents now have a new way to watch films.
The City of Hutto celebrated the grand opening of its new drive-in theater – The Globe Drive-In. The theater is located at the Brushy Creek Amphitheater at 1001 County Road 137.
Here's how it works:
- There are several ticket types you can buy online and you will need both a car slot and a general admission ticket for every person in your party for each movie you would like to see.
- You will need to choose a car slot based on your car's size. A small slot is for sedans and smaller, while the large slots are for SUVs, trucks, vans, and Jeeps. The car slot is good for both movies.
The City said on Twitter it is exciting to welcome the drive-in to town.
