Blue Lapis Light presents Radiance
See the art of acrobatic performance reach new heights. Blue Lapis Light defies gravity and evokes wonder in its newest production, Radiance. This site-specific aerial dance takes over the Long Center’s terrace, ring, and columns with two 20-foot "harps" providing the soundtrack. Get tickets to the ethereal experience while you can.
Spun and Anjore present Ice Cream Social Supper
This Thursday night, Austin's Spun Ice Cream and Indian catering company Anjore team up for an Ice Cream Social Supper pop-up at Black Lagoon. The collaborative dinner features four courses with unique flavors inspired by Indian spices, ghees, summer farm veggies, responsibly sourced roasted duck, and lots of liquid nitrogen fun.
2nd Street Soundcheck
Downtown Austin brings 2nd Street Soundcheck back for the fifth year of this epic block party. The music and street festival will showcase more than 20 local artists, food and drinks from some of the city’s hottest restaurants, in-store performances, and more. Listen to live music from Tameca Jones, Keeper, Moving Panoramas, and more. Free and open to the public.
Austin Record Convention
An Austin tradition since 1981, embrace the nostalgia of vinyl records, cassettes, and eight-track tapes at the summer 2016 Austin Record Convention. This Saturday and Sunday, the Palmer Events Center will host more than 300 record dealers and collectors from around the world. Try your luck at finding a rare album or finally snag the vinyl you’ve been missing in your collection.
Do for Dewberry
