The soundtrack that just won't quit: The Drive tour comes through Austin
Charge your iPhone and have Instagram at the ready, because the Drive tour is coming through Austin and you're going to want to let everyone know that you're front, center and cool as shit.
If Ryan Gosling's starring role in Drive weren't enough to get the 20- to 30-year-old demographic swooning, the dreamy 80s-inspired soundtrack features up and coming indie bands College, Anoraak and Electric Youth.
The soundtrack is a little urban, dripping in synth and totally makes you want to make out. Take a moment to remember that every single track accompanied Gosling's brooding mug and the film's gritty storyline, and the whole damn thing becomes even more appealing.
The compilation was so distinctly popular that it received a limited vinyl release in the U.S. courtesy of Portishead member Geoff Barrow's Invada Records in June (the U.K. got their vinyl in March).
So get in line (but look appropriately indifferent about it) and sway the night away (only imperceptibly, please) to some seriously seductive stuff.
