All-Star Lineup
All hail King George: Strait added to Fire Relief: The Concert for Central Texaslineup
The rumors are true: King George is coming to Austin.
Just announced this morning, George Strait joins an already star-studded lineup of musicians headed to the Frank Erwin Center on October 17 for Fire Relief: The Concert for Central Texas. We announced the organization of the benefit concert last week along with strong suspicions that Texas native Strait would be making a much-anticipated appearance.
Strait recently released a new album, Here For A Good Time, which debuted at number one on the Billboard Country charts in September, not unheard of for the country star who has over twenty number one hits under his belt.
King George is currently not on tour, but he will return to the road for one night with a dream lineup of other iconic names in Texas music. The Frank Erwin Center will also welcome Willie Nelson, Asleep at the Wheel, The Dixie Chicks, Lyle Lovett and The Texas Tornados to the stage for one memorable night.
Tickets for Fire Relief: The Concert for Central Texas are on sale now, with the most affordable tickets still available. Prices range from $25.00 mezzanine seats to $250.00 VIP tickets. With such a strong lineup of Texas favorites, and the new addition of George Strait, they will sell out quickly.
This is your chance to see some of the biggest names in Texas music, coming together in support of our neighbors who have just endured the most damaging fire in Texas history. All proceeds from the concert will be dispersed to central Texas community organizations and charities through the Central Texas Wildfire Fund.
