Austinites who avoid major ticketing platforms might start noticing a new option at checkout. This May, a local event production company called The Good Wolf Experience did the seemingly impossible and launched a new ticketing platform. It's a proposed alternative to those larger and often problematic ticketing systems out there.
Established here in 2006, Good Wolf is a full-service event production company specializing in incorporate events, talent booking, and concert production. The team has worked on everything from creating intimate gatherings to putting on large-scale conferences and festivals, and now, they can add ticketing to their list of services.
"I can’t tell you how many complaints I’ve heard about event ticketing. It’s really a weak-point in the events industry as a whole,” said Good Wolf president Brandon DeMaris in a press release. “After so many years of feeling the pain personally, we simply built the ticketing solution that Good Wolf needed for our own events and we’re now bringing that solution to market.”
This new platform from the ticketing underdogs at Good Wolf features around-the-clock customer service and guest communication management, custom-designed landing pages, and a new mobile app designed for clients. Outside of the digital, there are onsite client services to help with any ticketing issues that might arise on the day of the event.
Some events and organizations that are already utilizing Good Wolf's ticketing platform include Fiesta Jam, Southwest Regional Folk Alliance Conference, Utopiafest, and some Austin-area venues like the 04 Center and Meridian in Buda. In fact, along with the ticketing platform announcement, Good Wolf announced a new partnership with The 04 Center and Austin Music Presents (AMP) for the South Austin Song Circles, an event series that celebrates local musicians and their stories.
