The Bullock Museum’s live music- and art-based experience series continues for another month. July’s special guest performer is Austin-based musician Zach Person. Local visual artist and therapist Kemi Yemi-Esi will also lead a collage-making activity for all ages. Boz Scaggs comes to Austin’s Paramount Theatre for one night only. Vista Brewing presents the Hays County Honey Harvest Festival
Savor the sweetness of the season with Vista Ranch, the Hays County Beekeepers Association, and local Hill Country honey. Festival highlights include honey tastings from apiaries around Hays County, live demonstrations of extracting and spinning honey, and honeybee education for all ages to enjoy. Adults can also sample this year’s batch of Hive Mind Honey Ale, made with freshly-harvested honey. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Hays County Beekeepers Association’s Youth Scholarship & Mentoring Program. Festival admission is free with registration on Eventbrite.
Germania Insurance Amphitheater presents Slightly Stoopid in concert with Sublime With Rome
Slightly Stoopid makes a stop at Germania Insurance Amphitheater along with Sublime With Rome as part of their Summertime 2023 tour. Fans of this co-headlining show will enjoy songs from Slightly Stoopid’s new album, So Many Other Realities Exist Simultaneously, as well as music from Sublime With Rome ahead of their new album’s release later this year.
