The Far Out Lounge & Stage presents Snarky Puppy in concert
Jazz fusion band Snarky Puppy performs live in Austin for one night only. The Grammy Award-winning band, known for hits including “Lingus” and “Tarova,” plays at The Far Out Lounge & Stage in support of their 2022 album, Empire Central. Get tickets at seetickets.us.
Broadway in Austin presents Six
The female-forward stories of King Henry VIII’s six wives come to life on stage at Bass Concert Hall. This retelling of 50 years n Tudor Queen history focuses on each queen’s rise and fall to the tune of original songs that debuted in first place on the Billboard Broadway album charts. Pioneer Farms presents Pumpkin Nights
Celebrate the fall season with family-friendly festivities at Jourdan-Bachman Pioneer Farms. Activities include games, live entertainment, and a self-guided walk through a half-mile path built using over 5,000 hand-carved real and artificial pumpkins. (It's a lot like last year's.) House of Torment
Test your nerve and tap into the spooky spirit when you venture through the new attractions at House of Torment. Guests to this horrifying experience can explore three haunts, including "Infestation," "They Returned!," and "Illusion Manor: Book of Lost Souls." Additional highlights include a zombie shooting activation, mini escape games, and access to the Torment Tavern for guests 21 and over. House of Tormet is open through November 11. Austin City Limits Music Festival
The biggest names in music and rising stars from Texas and beyond converge at Zilker Park for another year of the Austin City Limits Music Festival. This year’s festival top acts include Foo Fighters, Kendrick Lamar, Maggie Rogers, The 1975, Alanis Morissette, Labyrinth, Kali Uchis, and more. ACL performances continue next weekend, October 13-15. Wally Workman Gallery presents Sarah Ferguson: “Continuum” opening day
See the latest works by painter Sarah Ferguson at her solo show in Wally Workman Gallery. Guests can study and experience Fergusion’s artistic exploration of concepts like life, death, and other mysteries using techniques like hard-edge painting and geometric abstraction. Paramount Theatre presents "Jimmy Carr: Terribly Funny"
Jimmy Carr brings his sharp and dark humor to the stage at The Paramount Theatre as part of his Terribly Funny tour. The UK comedian is best known for his expert roast abilities and his stand-up comedy specials on Netflix, such as his 2021 project, His Dark Material. Carr will perform two shows back-to-back.
