Fantastic Fest
The biggest horror, fantasy, sci-fi, and action film festival in the U.S. returns to Austin for eight days of cinematic fanfare.This year’s festival highlights include opening night screening Smile; Martin McDonagh's The Banshees of Inisherin starring Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson; and the closing night film, Ruben Östlund's Triangle of Sadness. Broadway in Austin: Hadestown
Mythology and theater combine for an award-winning production at Bass Concert Hall. This dramatic and gripping love story is an eight-time Tony Awards winner and showcases a talented ensemble of actors, dancers, and singers. For ticketing information, click here. Fierce Whiskers Distillery presents One Year Anniversary
Fierce Whiskers Distillery is inviting guests to enjoy their one year anniversary with some spirited competition. Ten local bartenders will vie for a cash prize by crafting a cocktail featuring the distillery’s bourbon. Party guests will get to sample each of the speciality cocktail entries and will have the opportunity select a “People’s Choice” winner. Additional highlights include live music, local vendor activations, and the unveiling of the special release of Five O’Clock Shadow, which will be available for purchase. Wanda Sykes in concert
Comedian Wanda Sykes is back in Austin in front of a live audience at ACL Live for one night only. Throughout her 20-plus-year career, Emmy-winning writer Sykes has ranked among Entertainment Weekly’s “25 Funniest People in America" and has starred in countless sitcoms including HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm and ABC’s Black-ish. Harry Styles in concert
Pop star and fashion disruptor Harry Styles will comes to Austin for an unprecedented six nights of live concerts at the Moody Center. The singer, best known for hits like “Watermelon Sugar” and “As It Was,” is in the city in support of his new album, Harry’s House. Special guest Gabriels will join Styles in concert.
