Cap City Comedy Club presents Craig Robinson
Longtime comedian Craig Robinson is coming to the Cap City Comedy Club for a brief stint of live stand-up shows this weekend only. Robinson is most widely known for his role as Dunder-Mifflin employee Darryl Philbin on NBC’s Emmy-winning The Office. In addition to his character on the award-winning show, Robinson has also appeared on programs including The Jimmy Kimmel Show and Real Time with Bill Maher. TLC Oyster Fest
Eat your fill of the finest shellfish selections as part of a new Austin culinary tradition at TLC. Attendees to Oyster Fest will be able to dine on the freshest and expertly-selected East Coast and Gulf oyster varieties prepared raw, grilled, and fried. Interested guests can also try their luck at taking home cash pot prizes by participating in oyster shucking and oyster eating competitions. Link & Pin Gallery presents Larry Akers: "Lines of Interaction" opening reception
Experience a solo exhibition showcasing the world of sculpturist Larry Akers at Link & Pin Gallery. The use of fluid, pattern-based imagery in Akers’ work invites viewers to lean into the sculptures, oftentimes resulting in the viewer feeling connected with and to the art itself. Vision and cognition combine in these illusions, promising a unique perspective and artfully good time. Admission to the opening reception is free and open to the public. Following the reception, the exhibit will be on display through October 29.

Rock duo Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo bring their unique blend of vocals and guitar artistry to the Paramount Theatre for a special live concert. The two musicians are each formidable in their own right, but together, they have created the sound of some of the greatest hits in rock history including “We Belong” and “Love Is A Battlefield.” A limited number of seating options are available.
