10th Indie Meme Film Festival
Independent South Asian films screen at AFS Cinema and online during the 10th annual Indie Meme Film Festival. The event features live screenings, Q&A sessions with filmmakers, short films, and more. Badges and schedule information are available on the festival website. Events are scheduled through April 13.
Moontower Comedy Festival: Pauly Shore
Comedian Pauly Shore brings fresh material to State Theatre as part of Moontower Comedy Festival for back-to-back nights. Shore is best known for his 1990s stardom and roles in films including “Jury Duty” and “Son In Law.” Fans can enjoy stories from his life ranging from his time at MTV to his visits to the Playboy Mansion. Tickets to both shows are available.
Paul Simon in concert: A Quiet Celebration
Singer-songwriter Paul Simon performs live in concert at Bass Concert Hall. The artist will present the live debut of his 2023 album, Seven Psalms, and other timeless classics from his catalog. He’s best known for his hits including “The Sound of Silence” and “Mrs. Robinson.” A limited number of tickets are available now.

KUTX 98.9 presents KUTX Rock the Park Concert Series
Local radio station KUTX 98.9 continues its spring season of live music at Mueller Lake Park. This monthly concert series will feature music by Akins High School Mariachi and LP Giobbi in April. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets to enjoy the show comfortably. Admission is free and open to the public. Rock the Park continues through May 2.

Earth Day ATX
Celebrate the environment with family-friendly activities on the Huston-Tillotson University campus. Earth Day ATX highlights include live music, youth performances, interactive exhibits, community art, and more. Austin Margarita Festival
