It's a miracle: Where to find the FDA-approved hangover pill dubbed Blowfish
Dec 11, 2011 | 1:48 pm
Just in nick of time for the holiday haze, the FDA has approved a pill to relieve the common hangover.
The pill, which is dissolved like an Alka Seltzer, is called Blowfish for some reason. (Because that's what a puffy face looks like the morning after, perhaps?)
The magic pills will be available over-the-counter and contain aspirin, caffeine and an ingredient to relieve nausea, a la Emetrol.
Pretty standard fare, but delivered swiftly — symptoms should be alleviated within 15 minutes, it claims — and in one handy, dandy, little effervescent package.
Blowfish should be on shelves by early next year (in time for New Year's Eve?!) and cost around $3 per dose.
