New townhomes with funky vibe pop up in popular South Austin neighborhood
It's not often that a property pops up on the market with a perfect balance of old and new Austin. Introducing 2002 Glen Allen St., a luxury townhome project off of Manchaca Road that perfectly blends classic 78704 living with modern flair.
Among the floor plans available is a three-story unit, featuring two bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms as well as two flexible living areas.
The unit may be slim, but the space inside is open and well lit. Stainless-steel appliances and hardware offer a lovely contrast to the dark cabinetry, hardwood floors, and designer tile. Other amenities include a one-car garage, walk-in closets, washer and dyer, and a large walk-in shower.
The warm, modern design comes courtesy of Levy Architects; construction was handled by LD&C Construction.
"It’s always gratifying to bring out new housing options in established neighborhoods," said Robert Lee of LD&C Construction in a release. "Many people want to buy new construction, yet want mature trees and traditional neighborhoods not found in the suburbs. These projects are the best of both worlds — new construction and established Austin neighborhoods."
The townhomes are situated on a nearly half-acre property. The location provides easy access to popular South Lamar eateries and entertainment venues. The three-bedroom floor plan starts at $549,900, however, a two-bedroom floor plan is also available starting at $499,900.
The project is offered by Jason Botello and Eric GrossKopf at 24th Street Realty.
