Update: Hopdoddy Burger Bar's location in the Triangle opens Monday, September 19. The story has been updated.
Hopdoddy Burger Bar continues its Austin domination with news of a new central location. The homegrown burger chain plans to open at The Triangle, representatives confirmed with CultureMap.
The burger chain, famous for insanely long lines, will open in the former Mama Fu's space. This makes for the third location in Austin proper. Hopdoddy also has locations on South Congress Avenue (its flagship) and Anderson Lane, plus an outpost in Round Rock.
Since debuting in 2010, the burger bar has expanded to Dallas, Arizona, Colorado, and California. An emphasis on fresh ingredients and humanely raised beef has bolstered Hopdoddy's reputation as one of the top burger joints in the country. Complementing the creative burger selection is a lineup of specialty cocktails, delicious fries, and seasonal offerings.
