Peachy keen
Peachy Austin restaurant branches out with first-ever Clarksville bar

Things are looking peachy keen for one Austin mini-chain. On September 24, the Peached Tortilla team announced it is taking over the former Winflo bungalow at 1315 W. Sixth St. and opening a new cocktail-focused eatery.
Slated to open this winter, Bar Peached will offer an extensive menu of craft cocktails, including ever-popular draft and frozen options, alongside a curated beer and wine list. Kevin Kok, Peached Tortilla’s beverage director, will be in charge of the cocktail program at the new Clarksville haunt.
True to form, the restaurant's dining options will feature a contemporary take on Asian comfort food, in dishes such as shareable appetizers, entrees, and vegetarian options, according to the release.
Peached's famous tacos, arguably the dish that turned a food truck into an Austin dining empire complete with a Burnet Road brick-and-mortar and North Austin event space, will also be available. Bar Peached will also roll out build-your-own tacos, complete with a selection of meats and toppings.
Kevin Stewart of Design Hound, the mastermind behind Peached Tortilla's previous projects, is leading the overhaul of the classic Clarksville bungalow.
Among the changes to the interior are the addition of a 13-seat bar and design upgrades to reflect the brand's "signature lively brightness." Outside, the massive heritage trees will remain untouched, but the expansive patio will feature additional seating options.
