Get rid of that case of the Mondays at Buenos Aires Cafe. Buenos Aires Cafe, Este/Facebook

Saving money on a single glass of wine is nice, but landing a whole bottle for a fraction of the price is even better. Luckily, in Austin, there are a variety of spots — from sexy wine bars to swanky Argentinian eateries — that offer very good deals on very good bottles of vino. So grab a seat, uncork a bottle, and enjoy.

Barlata
Tap into this tapas bar on South Lamar Boulevard after 7 pm Tuesdays through Sundays for half-off bottles of wine. On a food-related note, there’s a different paella special available on each of these nights, so make sure to check out what’s on the menu and pair it accordingly with your wine selection.

Buenos Aires
Mondays are indeed the worst, but this cafe does its part to make things better by offering half off bottles of wine under $50 all day long. Go early, between 3-6 pm, which is when Buenos Aires' regular happy hour runs, and enjoy $3 empanadas and discounted apps.

Bufalina
Both Bufalina and Bufalina Due have a great happy hour that offers quite a bit. All Neapolitan-style pizzas are half priced, as are bottles of wine that are $100 or less. If you only want a single drink, each spot also has house wine by the glass that’s $5. The window for these deals isn’t large — 4-5:30 pm, Wednesday to Sunday — but it’s worth the effort.

Cover 3
Wine Wednesday is the name of the game at all of the Cover locations around town. From 4-10 pm, get half off bottles of Rodney Strong and Davis Bynum wines in addition to the restaurant's regular happy hour food deals. Between 4-7 pm on Wednesday (and other days, too), take advantage of the daily specials, which include $3 off shareables, wings, and sliders.

Il Brutto
There isn’t a day of the week that you can’t get in on some happy hour action at this Italian spot on East Sixth Street. From 5-7 pm on weekdays and 3-5 pm during the weekend, the entire bar menu is half off. That means bottles of wine or anything else can be had at a 50 percent discount.

Lenoir
The patio at this South First spot is where you want to head whenever the weather is nice. Lenoir's happy hour runs from 5-6:30 pm, Tuesday to Sunday, and its one and only offer is half off bottles of wine under $80. While it may not be discounted, be sure to try some of the restaurant’s self-described “hot weather food.”

North Italia
Whether in the Domain or downtown, this Italian eatery has you covered with half off bottles of wine (excluding the reserves) during happy hour, which is available from 3-6 pm, Monday to Thursday. Select house white and red glass of wine are $5 each. Also, during this time you can also score a delicious chef’s board for just $10.
