The only thing better than a slice of pizza and a good drink is the option to get both at a discounted price. Luckily, some of Austin’s best pizzerias offer pie-in-the-sky deals. These hot happy hours feature pizza offerings at $10 or less and plenty of beverage selections to get the party started.
Bufalina
Whether at the original Bufalina on East Cesar Chavez Street or Bufalina Due on Burnet Road, penny pinchers can enjoy a stellar happy hour that includes 50-percent off the entire menu of Neapolitan-style pizzas. Drafts are $2 off and house wine by the glass is just $5, so there’s alway something good to pair with offerings like the Calabrese, a pie loaded with salami, serrano peppers, mozzarella, and more. Be warned, however, that the discount window in short. The deals are only good from 4-5:30 pm, Wednesday through Sunday.
Cane Rosso
This Sunset Valley pizzeria has some of the most appealing bargains in South Austin. From Thursday to Sunday, 3-6 pm, guests can clink glasses of $6 house wines or $2 discounted cocktails and draft beers. The wood-fired pies range from $7-$9, and include such unexpected selections like the Billy Ray Valentine with bacon marmalade, vodka sauce, Sweety Drop peppers, and house-made mozzarella.
Italic
Get crafty at this West Sixth Street spot by flipping a late lunch into an early happy hour. Weekday specials, available from 2:30-6:30 pm include select wines, beer, and cocktails for just $5, while all pizzas ring in at $10. Definitely go for the Italian sausage pie, a cheesy tour de force kicked up with Calabrian chilis.
North Italia
The two locations of this Italian eatery celebrate happy hour from 3-6 pm, Monday to Thursday. For a post-work snack, it’s hard to beat the $8 pizza special with a choice of a classic Margherita or aged provolone and smoked mozzarella bianca pie. Get the best of both worlds with the $25 “board and bottle” special, which combines a choice of pizza, chef’s board, or bruschetta with a bottle of the red or white house wine.
Second Bar + Kitchen
The Domain Northside location of this Austin classic is a treat any way you slice it. Pizzas like the decadent Black and Bleu with black truffles, blue cheese, and pork belly are $10, and select wine, beer, and cocktails are available for $5. Guests can take advantage of these deals every day from 3-6 pm, and from 11 pm-2 am on Friday and Saturday.

Close to ACL Live at the Moody Theater and other downtown attractions, this Italian favorite is a perfect pre-game spot for a night downtown. Happy hour runs from 4-7 pm, Sunday to Friday, with all pizzas off the dinner menu prices just $7. Be sure to pair one with your choice of a $5 well drink, draft beer, or select wines by the glass.
