Babes Fest is a four-day celebration of women and nonbinary artists in the music, film, comedy, and creative industries. Out of Bounds Comedy Festival
Austin’s longest running comedy festival returns with a packed schedule showcasing the best acts in improv, sketch, and stand-up comedy. The festival spans seven days and more than 60 shows, featuring hundreds of performers from the local, national, and global circuits. Cap City Comedy presents Chris Gethard
Funnyman Chris Gethard, known for truTV’s The Chris Gethard Show, will perform five stand-up comedy shows at the Cap City Comedy Club. The New York comedian has gained a cult following thanks to his hilarious and blunt delivery and his podcast, Beautiful Stories from Anonymous People. Shows through September 1.

University of Texas Libraries presents Lone Star Zine Fest
Lone Star Zine Fest brings together dozens of Central Texas collectives, distributors, zine creators, libraries, small presses, and more to shine a spotlight on the importance of independent- and self-publishing. Admission is free to this festival at The North Door.
Zip Lost Pines presents Labor Day Weekend Zip and Sip
Soar through the Texas Hill Country sky and sip on local brews at Zip Lost Pines' special Labor Day event. Adventurous visitors can zip down the 671-foot Cactus Corridor, then enjoy a selection of local Hops & Grain beers. For those who’d prefer to spectate, more home-brewed beer and lawn games will keep the easy vibe going. Walk-ups are welcome, but space is limited.
