Calling Villa Artique an artist residence is too simplistic. Not only does the private and secluded compound at 3612 Pearce Rd. feature a Spanish Colonial-influenced main home with two bedrooms, three bathrooms, and five fireplaces, the property also contains two studios: one for artwork and one for recording.

Built in 1985, the two-story, 6,190-square-foot main house includes thick stone walls and custom arched doors. The interior layout has a stunning, gallery-like scale, ideal for displaying an established or burgeoning art collection. There's a 200-inch movie screen in the main salon, as well as a more intimate media room for smaller movie nights.

In addition to the aforementioned recording studio that's tucked in the back of the main residence, the artist studio at the top of the hill features a large hydraulic lift to make working with massive canvases that much easier. Additional studio areas offer controlled lighting for photography, along with ample storage of supplies and canvases.

A separate, one-bedroom and one-bathroom guest apartment is located across the paver driveway from the pool pavilion, which is decorated with botanical features and includes several large-scale entertainment areas. You can easily park up to eight cars on the hilltop parking apron, and there's also a two-car garage for everyday use. A state-of-the-art security system patrols the 6.1-acre compound electronically.
