Man proposes with help of 48 dancing carrots (and other questionableengagements)
The idea of The Fairytale Engagement has been endlessly explored in novels, films, Sex and the City and, probably, over drinks with your BFFs. We’re pretty sure, though, that nobody’s ever dreamed of a horde of giant, dancing carrots popping the question—but that’s just how it happened for Chinese couple Xhao Xinyu and Pang Kun.
Because girlfriend Xinyu’s favorite color is orange, creative Kun enlisted the help of 48 friends to don sunglasses-clad carrot suits and perform a choreographed dance, culminating in a public proposal.
Skimming through videos of equally over-the-top engagements, most seem to skew towards the cringeworthy side of the spectrum. But these two guys prove that a big plan and an even bigger heart can go a long way:
Manhattan Mural Proposal
Talk about showing off your love: New Yorker Jeff Gurwin commissions a huge mural on Avenue A.
Dancing in the Streets
Let's ignore the fact that this couple's song is "Shake It" by Metro Station and focus on groom-to-be Woodrow's serious dance skills.
