This news will tickle your funny bone. Moontower Comedy & Oddity Festival has added more big-name acts to an already stacked lineup.

Chris Hardwick, Jay Pharoah, Matt Bellassai, Brian Posehn, and Morgan Murphy join a long list that includes Patton Oswalt; Ali Wong; and Ralphie May, who will host a midnight show "full of surprises."

Other previously announced artists include Andy Kindler, Big Jay Oakerson, Dan Soder, and the Sklar Brothers. Local talents Matt Bearden, Lashonda Lester, Mike Macrae, and Chris Cubas are also on the list of around 50 performers. In addition to stand-up comedy, Moontower showcases sketch, improv, and other comedic shows like a live version of podcast My Favorite Murder with Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark.

The sixth annual celebration returns April 19-22 to various venues around town, including the Paramount Theatre, Stateside at the Paramount, and Cap City Comedy Club. Even more funny people will be announced in the coming weeks.

Passes are on sale now with prices ranging from $79-$599; the ultimate Front Row badges are sold out. Tickets to single performances go on sale February 10 at 10 am.
