Calle 13, Escovedo, Los Lonely Boys top fifth Pachanga Fest line up
For proof of the esteem the Pachanga Latino Music Festival has achieved going into its fifth year, look no further than the big names who will play the festival for the first time. There’s multi-Grammy winners Calle 13 from Puerto Rico, multi-platinum rockers Los Lonely Boys and legendary rocker Alejandro Escovedo, among a lineup that includes Chico Trujillo, Ana Tijoux and many more.
“With Calle 13 on Friday night we’re able to present them with a limited number of bands for a very special opening night, and then go one with the full day lineup on Saturday,” festival founder Rich Garza said. “I like what we’re doing, and proud of taking lots of Austin artists who get to play with bigger, buzzy acts from all over.”
The festival takes place May 11 and 12 at Fiesta Gardens. The full lineup is available here and families will be able to enjoy the Ninos Rock Pachanga kids festival.
