South Congress Hotel presents Symbiosis II
The South Congress Hotel hosts a second installment of Symbiosis, a free collaborative evening of the Austin arts and artists. The event features projects from artists Gareth Maguire and Bob Schneider. Drink specials and tunes by DJ Manolo Black complement expressionist and surrealist pieces from these multidisciplinary talents.
Buddy Guy in concert with Quinn Sullivan
Legendary musician and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Buddy Guy is set to grace the ACL Live stage for one night only. Guy makes his stop in Austin in support of his new album, Born To Play Guitar. Quinn Sullivan joins Guy as the show’s opening act.
2017 Out of Bounds Comedy Festival
The greatest comics from Austin and beyond head to iconic venues across the city for the 2017 Out of Bounds Comedy Festival. The seven-day humor megafest features more than 500 performers showcasing their improv, sketch, and stand-up comedy. Events are scheduled through Monday.
TexARTS presents The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas
Adult musical comedy The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas rounds out a stellar season at the TexARTS Kam & James Morris Theatre with its final shows this weekend. The fun and flirty production is based on the true story of an Austin-area brothel’s demise in the 1970s. Your final chance to catch this show is Sunday.

Banger's Sausage House & Beer Garden presents Smoke Out Saturday: Hurricane Harvey Benefit
Banger’s is throwing a special "Smoke Out" to raise money for those affected by Hurricane Harvey in Houston and along the Gulf Coast. All proceeds from the plates and beers from Houston breweries will be donated to Global Giving's Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund.

Contigo presents Pig Out Party
Ease into Labor Day with farm-fresh eats and local libations at Contigo. The Pig Out Party is an end-of-summer dinner party featuring chef-prepared foods and family fun. Sip frosty brews and cocktails from Treaty Oak Brewing & Distilling while the kids get acquainted with live farm animals.

Harvey Relief Benefit: Comedy Helps
The Paramount Theatre will present the Harvey Relief Benefit: Comedy Helps, with 100 percent of the proceeds, including ticket, concessions, and merchandise sales, directly benefiting the American Red Cross. The show will feature Ron White, Iliza Shlesinger, and Chris D'Elia.
