Banger’s Sausage House & Beer Garden presents Oktoberfest
Oktoberfest returns to Banger’s Sausage House & Beer Garden this weekend only. This year's celebration features four days of German cuisine, live music, games, and craft brews to make all the festivities even more fun. In honor of Deutschland, the kitchen is offering a special menu of bierwurst, spaetzle, schnitzel, weisswurst, and German potato cakes. And make sure to get there early: Every day during Oktoberfest, Banger's staff will be tapping one keg of Live Oak Brewery's Oaktoberfest and offering free pints until it's gone. Festivities until October 29.
2017 Austin Film Festival
Hundreds of screenings, panels, script readings, parties, and other special events will take place across the city during the 2017 Austin Film Festival. Cinematic highlights include a screening of opening night film Lady Bird with writer/director Greta Gerwig in attendance and a closing night film screening of I, Tonya, starring Margot Robbie. Other screenings include The Darker House, starring Gary Oldman, and The Current War, starring Katherine Waterson. Festival events through November 2.
Penfold Theatre, 7 Towers Theatre, Austin Scottish Rite Theater presents Woman in Black
A spine-tingling adaptation of Susan Hill’s original ghost story comes to life on the Scottish Rite Theater stage just in time for Halloween weekend. Test your mettle and get lost in the hair-raising tale of moving shadows, deadly secrets, and the terrifying Woman in Black. Performances through October 30. Tickets are $18-$30 and available here.

Halsey in concert
Breakout pop singer Halsey makes a stop at the Frank Erwin Center as part of her nationwide tour. Sing along to hit songs from Halsey’s second full-length album, hopeless fountain kingdom, for one electric night only. Halsey is joined by fellow chart-topping artists PartyNextDoor and Charli XCX. Tickets range from $29.50-$59.50 and are available here.

Texas Keeper Cider presents 2nd Annual Honey Fest
Texas Keeper Cider and Two Hives Honey join forces for the second installment of Honey Fest. Held at the Texas Keeper Cider brewery, attendees can enjoy live music performances, taste honey-inspired drinks and bites, shop bee-inspired jewelry, take a tour of an active hive, and even stock up on local honey. Dishes from Austin eateries like Texas French Bread, SPUN Ice Cream, and Lox, Box & Barrel are sure to satisfy every sweet tooth in the family. Tickets are $10 each and available here.
