Forklift Danceworks present Forklift Fantasia: The Shape of Water
Celebrate boundless imagination during an immersive evening along the banks of Waller Creek with the launch of The Way of Water. The traveling multi-year project features local, national, and international stewards of this vital resource. Thursday's event includes local bites, beverages, a short preview performance of The Way of Water: Waller Creek, and, in true Forklift fashion, a dance party under the stars.
Cap City Comedy Club presents Michael Ian Black
Comedian, author, and entertainer Michael Ian Black brings fresh stand-up material to the Cap City Comedy Club with several shows this weekend. Black is best known for his appearances in several films and television series, most recently including Comedy Central’s Another Period. Shows are scheduled through October 1.

Art Gathering at Music Hill: Art+Hearts For Uvalde
Music Hill Ranch invites guests to experience an evening of art and music in support of the healing and perseverance of Uvalde. The intimate and uplifting experience will including live music performances, specially-crafted bites, and libations in an al fresco nighttime setting. Most notably, the event will feature works by artists Raphael Crump, Daniela Pasqualini, and Glass Axes by Amy Voss. The Water Lantern Festival returns to Mueller Lake Park for another year of family-friendly activities in the spirit of connections. Music artist and multi-hyphenate talent Weird Al Yankovic performs live at Moody Theater as part of The Unfortunate Return of the Ridiculously Self-Indulgent Ill-Advised Vanity Tour. Audiences can expect an energizing and equally hilarious show featuring Yankovic’s signature style of comedy songs. He’ll be joined by special guest Emo Philips.
