Leon Bridges kicks off new tour and debuts album at Austin City Limits Fest

Native Fort Worthian singer Leon Bridges will embark on Leon Bridges: The Leon Tour in fall 2024, a trek that will kick off at the Austin City Limits Music Festival and conclude with a special homecoming show at Dickies Arena on Friday, November 15.

The Fort Worth date will be Bridges' biggest headline show of his career, with the rest of the tour taking place in smaller venues (or the festival's larger, non-headlining performance).

The tour starts when Bridges plays October 4 and 11 at the Austin City Limits Music Festival, with the October 4 concert lining up with the release date of his new album, the self-titled Leon.

He'll then go on to play 21 more shows over the next month, playing multiple shows in cities like Chicago, Toronto, and Boston, including three nights back-to-back in New York and Nashville.

He'll be joined by Hermanos Gutierrez on all dates save for Austin, with Charley Crockett joining as a special guest in Fort Worth.

The new album features 13 tracks that spotlight Bridges' signature storytelling, said to be his most personal body of work to date as he takes listeners through the streets he knows best, the things he holds dearest, and the memories of the people and place that shaped him.

This is Bridges' fourth album of his career and his first since Gold-Diggers Sound in 2021.

Presales for the tour start on Tuesday, August 20, with tickets going on sale to the general public on Friday, August 23, at 10 am. One dollar from every ticket sold will go directly to Bridges' charity, The Big Good.
