Englishman in Texas
Music icon Sting heads to Austin as part of new 2023 tour stop additions

Sting will play at the Moody Center on September 17.
Pop/rock icon Sting has extended his "My Songs World Tour" and is now heading to the Moody Center on September 17.
Sting's tour additions will include three stops in Texas. The Austin show will be his first Texas appearances; he'll also play in Dallas on October 14 and Houston on October 15. The Texas shows are part of nine new shows added to the fall North American leg of the tour, currently scheduled to kick off in Toronto on September 5 and to finish with The Woodlands date.
The tour has technically been going on since 2019 when Sting released the album for which the tour is named, My Songs. The pandemic caused the singer to cancel dates in 2020 and 2021, and so even though he released another album, The Bridge, in 2021, he's chosen to continue calling it the "My Songs World Tour."
The tour features many of Sting's most-loved songs, written throughout his career both with The Police and as a solo artist. Fans can expect to hear hits like "Fields of Gold," "Shape of my Heart," "Roxanne," "Englishman In New York," "Every Breath You Take," "Message In A Bottle," "Demolition Man," and more.
As he has on previous tours, Sting will be joined by special guest — and his son — Joe Sumner as the opening act.
Members of Sting’s Fan Club will have the opportunity to access a special pre-sale by visiting sting.com, starting on Tuesday, April 18. Additional pre-sales will run throughout the week. The general on sale for the North American leg of the tour will start on Friday, April 21 at 10 am.
The tour will also offer a variety of VIP packages and experiences, including premium tickets, access to the pre-show VIP lounge, specially designed VIP gift item, limited edition tour poster, and more.
