Cine Las Americas International Film Festival
The 26th year of Cine Las Americas features a packed schedule of films spanning Latin America. Screenings will take place at AFS Cinema and Austin PBS. Highlights of the five-day event include Alejandra Vasquez & Sam Osborn’s Going Varsity in Mariachi on opening night, several films from across the Americas, and Lone Scherfig’s La Contadora de Peliculas (The Movie Teller) as the closing night film. Programming is scheduled through May 19.
Affordable Art Fair
The Affordable Art Fair makes a stop in Texas for the first time ever at Palmer Events Center. Highlights of the four-day event include a variety of contemporary art from over 50 participating galleries for purchase. Guests can explore works from emerging and established artists alike with pieces that suit every budget.

Parlor & Yard's Yappy Hour

Michelle Wolf: It’s Great to Be Here Tour
Comedian Michelle Wolf brings fresh material to The Paramount Theatre. She’s best known for her Emmy-winning HBO special, Michelle Wolf: Nice Lady. Wolf most recently released the 2019 Netflix special, Michelle Wolf: Joke Show. Tickets are still available.
The Mavericks in concert
Country music band The Mavericks perform at ACL Live at The Moody Theater for two back-to-back nights. The group behind hits such as “Back in Your Arms Again” and “What a Crying Shame” have released 12 studio albums, including 2020’s En Español. Select seating is available.
