SXSW has a style all its own. In addition to great music, there are shops aplenty popping up in Austin during the event. Here's a look at the standout events that the stylish can't miss.

South By San Jose
Make your way to Hotel San Jose for a killer lineup of events this week and next. On top of official SXSJ vendors (like Feathers and Sugar Shack Vintage), enjoy an interactive mobile market on March 11 and 12 with Bexar Goods Co, Soul Rebel Vintage, Vannagram & Co., and more.

On March 15 from noon to 5 pm, explore a special pop-up with Fort Lonesome x Madewell. Fort Lonesome’s Kathie Sever will be offering complimentary chain stitch monogramming when guests purchase one of Madewell’s favorite denim styles in the lounge. March 16 through 20, shop at SXSJ merchant booth, which includes favorites like Esby, Canoe Goods, Catchtilly, Realm, and Moon. Bonus: lots of live music from Wednesday through Sunday.

You’ll find stylish pop-ups galore at Cove during SXSW. On March 12 and 19, Cove is hosting a Maggie Louise Confections Pop-Up shop, perfect for those with a sweet tooth. Also on March 19, Cove is hosting a Camilla trunk show where customers can view the spring and summer collection and get styling tips. Enjoy complimentary cocktails at both events — and save us a spot.

Kit and Ace
Kit and Ace, a designer and purveyor of contemporary luxury apparel for men and women, is making its rounds in Austin from March 11 through 16. The Copper Studio, a custom Airstream, has been touring all across the United States and Canada as a “showroom on wheels,” and Austin is the last U.S. city on the route. Catch the studio at Hotel San Jose, Launderette, Hotel Saint Cecilia, and Hope Outdoor Gallery. You can also see where the Copper Studio has been by following @kitandace on Instagram and where they are going next through the hashtag #thecopperstudio.

Join Sunroom for a very special trunk show with the fashion-forward shoe collection Brother Vellies on March 18 and 19 (as seen in T Magazine). Brother Vellies' designer Aurora James will be in store both days with expanded merchandise for customers to purchase.

On March 11 and 12, The Mens Shop at ByGeorge on Lamar Boulevard hosts NYC friends from Freemans Sporting Club for the ultimate gentleman’s event featuring made-to-measure suiting, on-site haircuts, beard trims, and beverages. Guests can choose from a variety of fabrics, styles, and weights to create a new go-to suit.
