Just Uber It
Uber makes it even easier to get your favorite food delivered in Austin
Once again, Uber is ready to deliver. The ride-sharing company's food delivery service, UberEats, launched a new app in Austin on Thursday, dramatically increasing the number of participating restaurants and the Austin delivery area.
UberEats now serves the majority of Austin, with boundaries of Highway 183 to the north and east, Highway 71 to the south, and Loop 360 to the west. New restaurant partners include the likes of Noble Sandwich Co., Jacoby's Restaurant & Mercantile, and Unit-D Pizzeria, bringing the total to nearly 100 dining options.
Like requesting a ride through Uber, the ordering process is simple. Download the new app, use your existing Uber info, select a participating restaurant, and order your desired dishes. Via the Instant Delivery menu, you can select prepared meals from top Austin eateries that will be delivered within 10 minutes.
The service is available seven days a week from 8 am to midnight. There's a base delivery fee of $3 for the Instant Delivery menu and a fee of $5 for a regular order.
In addition to Austin, UberEats is now available in Houston, Dallas, and other major U.S. cities.
