The Hill Country house that Round Rock Donuts built is being auctioned off May 21. Previously listed for as much as $3.75 million, the Salado estate is now headed to the auction block through Platinum Luxury Auctions in tandem with Ron Jones of Keller Williams Realty Lone Star after spending several years on and off the market.

- An 1,120-square-foot guest cottage with one bedroom and one bathroom.
- A 489-square-foot “man cave” studio with one bedroom and one bathroom.
Amenities at the main house include a two-story primary suite with a stone fireplace, a sitting area, dual closets, a spa-inspired bath with heated floors, a multihead walk-in shower, and an oversized soaking tub.

The Guderyahns bought the property in 2021, according to Mansion Global. They’re selling it because they’re spending more time in Florida and less time in Texas.
The centerpiece of the seven-year-old estate is the resort-style pool. The Guderyahns invested more than $800,000 in the pool complex as part of a broader $1.1 million renovation. The complex offers a swim-up bar, spa, fire pit, outdoor kitchen, and sunset views.

In 1978, Cathy Guderyahn’s parents took over Round Rock Donuts, which opened in 1926 as Lone Star Bakery. The iconic doughnut shop, which has one location in Round Rock and another in Cedar Park, is known for its Texas-sized doughnut and signature orange-glazed doughnuts.
