Boozy Bakery
Austin's hottest bakeshop announces boozy new concept in Mueller
Just a month after former Foreign & Domestic pastry chef Jodi Elliott opened Bribery Bakery in Wells Branch, a lease has been signed for a second location in the Mueller development.
Bribery's first location has been baking up sweet treats like cinnamon rolls, croissants and quiche since mid-March, and the response has been so overwhelming that Elliott says she's "ready to open a second location!"
The next spot won't just serve coffee and pastries, though. The new Bribery Bakery — which is slated to open by the end of the year — will be part bakery, part bar.
During the day, expect Elliott's signature sweets. And at night, come by for a drink. The idea is that in the evening, Bribery Bakery will transform into a "modern sophisticated dessert bar with plated desserts, comfort foods, wine, beer and cocktails," explains a press release.
Those looking forward to the boozy bakery can help it get off the ground by supporting Elliott's fundraising efforts on the Texas Entrepreneur network.
