Deep dish pizza lovers, rejoice: World-famous pies from Gino's East will debut in Austin later this month. The location, 214 E. Sixth St., is set to open on June 30, according to a press release.

In September 2014 we reported that Austin-based ATX Brands, operator of breastaurant chain Bikinis, would bring the first Gino’s East franchises to Texas. There are already two in the Houston area, one in San Antonio and one in Arlington.

Just like the other Texas locations, the Austin outpost of Gino's East will feature signature dishes and Texas-influenced items.

On the menu, you'll find signature favorites such as the Meaty Legend Pizza, Chicago Fire Pizza and Gino’s East Specialty Patty-Style Sausage Pizza. Lone Star additions include the BBQ Brisket Za with brisket, caramelized onions, and red and yellow peppers. You'll also be able to snag trademark appetizers like deep-dish nachos and handmade mozzarella sticks.

Special hours for the grand opening are June 30 and July 1 from 2 pm to midnight. Starting July 2, Gino's East on Sixth Street will be open Sunday through Wednesday from 11 am to midnight, Thursday through Saturday from 11 am to 2 am.
