Lucy's on the Lake
Popular Austin fried chicken joint fires up hot new location at the lake

After months of anticipation, the newest location of Lucy's Fried Chicken has an opening date. Director of culinary operations, Angela Lunardi, confirms that Lucy's on the Lake will start serving its signature birds at Lake Travis on December 7.
The popular fried chicken joint has taken over the iconic Iguana Grill space, and the larger venue warrants a larger menu. Lucy's favorites will still be available, in addition to lighter options and gluten-free dishes and an expanded weekend brunch.
In true lakefront fashion, the new Lucy's features an outdoor oyster shucking station, a lake-view bar, a playground, and a stand-alone event area. Neon artist Evan Voyles has created a unique version of the Lucy's pinup girl, this one with a sailor hat.
Owner James Holmes shared his vision for the new space with us in March: "I know it sounds corny, but in the summers, I'm looking forward to people being on the lake all day, coming up in their swimsuits, sunburnt, just chowing down on some chicken and drinking beers."
Lucy's on the Lake will be open Monday through Thursday from 11 am to 10 pm, Friday from 11 am to 11 pm, Saturday from 10 am to 11 pm, and Sunday from 10 am to 10 pm.
