Wedding Bells
6 picture-perfect Austin wedding venues for your special day
With a host of beautiful venues to choose from, Austin's a perfect place to get married. For a more traditional affair, these wedding venues take the cake. (Looking for something different? We have suggestions for unique venues too.)
Brazos Hall
Brazos Hall is smack in the middle of downtown and has a huge space for your ceremony and reception, so the whole event can take place in one central space. There's a main hall and a rooftop deck, which can be outfitted to perfectly execute your wedding vision. It's also conveniently located near downtown's best hotels — a double win for you and your guests.
Mercury Hall
If a smaller wedding is more your speed, Mercury Hall in South Austin is a charming option. There's an outdoor space with a quaint little grove of trees where you can say "I do," and a small reception hall for a nice, intimate evening. It's historic too. The quaint building was built in 1904 in Mercury, Texas and was moved to its current location off South First Street in 1997.
The Palm Door on Sabine
Similar to Brazos Hall, the Palm Door is a great option for your downtown wedding. With ample indoor and outdoor space, there's plenty of room for guests to dance, lounge, and more. Just take a look at the photos on Palm Door's website for some serious wedding envy. If that doesn't sell you, we don't know what will.
The Mansion
In the middle of West Campus sits a mansion that's available for your wedding — and it's absolutely beautiful. Between the ballroom, parlor, dining room, and more (it's huge!), you'll feel like a true Southern belle or legitimate royalty. The Texas Federation of Women's Clubs Mansion has been a favorite for weddings since the 1930s.
Barr Mansion
This picturesque property provides the perfect backdrop for a timeless, romantic affair. The Artisan Ballroom, arguably Barr Mansion's best feature, boasts a breathtaking glass facade that seamlessly blends indoor charm and outdoor beauty for a storybook wedding.
Hotel St. Cecilia
Tucked away off South Congress, this elegant boutique hotel is ideal for an intimate wedding. Hotel St. Cecilia’s beautiful grounds allow for the quintessential outdoor ceremony and reception, with a slice of Austin personality.
