Matilda the Musical marks the start of Zilker Theatre Productions’ 64th annual season of outdoor musical theatre. The production at Zilker Hillside Theater, based on the children's novel by Roald Dahl, includes original songs by Tim Minchin and a book by Dennis Kelly. Audiences will follow a young and extraordinary girl through her hard-knock times at home and school, to her own self-realization of bravery and witty imagination. The Paramount Theatre presents Darden Smith with Bruce Robison

atxGALS presents LUSH Pop-up Art Show
AtxGALS hosts its annual LUSH Art Show at The Cathedral. The two-day show, now in its seventh year, will showcase pieces from Austin’s top emerging artists. Moody Center presents Dave Chappelle Live
Acclaimed comedian Dave Chappelle makes a stop at Austin’s Moody Center as part of his nationwide tour. Zilker Botanical Garden presents the Woodland Faerie Trail by Moonlight
Frolic and find fellowship with the faeries by moonlight at Zilker Botanical Garden. Guests to this nighttime trail party will have the chance to enjoy a live faerie performer, have their faces painted by real-life faeries, and explore the trail featuring designs by Austin-based fey architects. Austin Symphony Orchestra presents Hartman Foundation Concerts in the Park
The Austin Symphony Orchestra’s Hartman Foundation continues its weekly outdoor concert series.
