The East Austin Studio Tour returned for two weekends this year, taking over studio spaces and art galleries on November 15-17 and 22-24. Artisans, jewelers, craftsman and creators opened their doors so fellow Austinites could take a peek at the magic being made inside.
Organized by Big Medium Gallery, E.A.S.T. is an annual event put on by hundreds of artists who take up residence in East Austin. Though their media run the gamet from charcoal to clay, precious metals to large-scale installations, the common theme remains: they make Austin the creative town we know and love.
