Wanderlust Yoga twists into North Austin with new studio and juice bar
Wanderlust Yoga, the yoga and meditation studio that has created a cult following since opening on Fifth Street in downtown Austin in 2012, is heading to The Domain. North Austin yogis can get their downward dog on beginning spring 2018 in Wanderlust's new 3,500-square-foot studio.
Like its sister space, the new Wanderlust Yoga will host yoga classes, programming, and workshops featuring live music, as well as community events and other activities. The new spot will also have an acai bowl and organic juice bar. Though the downtown locale is home to Blenders & Bowls, there's no word yet on the name of the new Domain cafe.
The studio is locally owned by Ashley Spence but is part of the overarching Wanderlust brand famous for hosting mindfulness and yoga festivals across the world. Wanderlust also has studios in Los Angeles and Squaw Valley, California, and Montreal, Canada.
Joining Wanderlust in The Domain is the second Austin outpost of True Food Kitchen, a health food chain. The Domain also announced the addition of high-end clothing retailers Ted Baker and Vince to the shopping mecca. Like Wanderlust, Ted Baker is slated to open this spring, followed by Vince in summer 2018.
