Shop 'Til You Drop
The ultimate list of places to shop at Domain Northside right now
More than 50 businesses will be part of Domain Northside's grand opening this weekend. On Friday, September 30, tons of anticipated stores open their doors for the first time, and the fun continues through Saturday with deals at new businesses, live music, and prizes and giveaways.
To help you navigate North Austin's newest destination for shopping and entertainment — which boasts 600,000-square-feet of diverse retailers and restaurants — we've created a helpful guide. Note: Many restaurants and entertainment spaces have already opened, and there's still more to come this fall.
Here's where you can shop this weekend:
Apparel and accessories
One of the biggest openings at Domain Northside is Austin's second Nordstrom, which carries all of your favorite high-end brands (including J. Crew) and features five footwear departments. We took a peek inside the new space before it opened to the public.
Famed boot company Fryeopens its second store in Texas, which will have a unique Austin twist, featuring custom guitars from Moniker and celebrating Austin's music heritage with a vintage jukebox. Darling Austin-based designer Kelly Wynne opens her first storefront, showcasing handbags; clutches; wallets; and a new line, Dear 512.
Also open: Alex and Ani, Bonobos, Everything But Water, Francesca's, Golden Bones, Hanna Andersson, Marmi, Planet Blue, Raven + Lily, and Weathered Coalition.
Beauty and fitness
There's plenty for beauty and fitness lovers in the new development too. Famous cycling studio and fitness phenomenon SoulCyclepedals into town, promising a high-energy workout and an atmosphere that feels more like a dance club than a studio. Beauty lovers can look forward to cosmetics brand Kiehl's first Austin storefront, specializing in high-quality skincare products made with natural ingredients.
Also open: 18|8 Fine Men's Salons, Birds Barbershop, Corepower Yoga, Lush, NYX, Sephora, and Viva Day Spa.
Home and design
RH Austin, the new Restoration Hardware outpost, debuted earlier this month to much acclaim. And for home accents, Paris-based candle shop Diptyque offers around 50 different scents, all designed with nature, a past journey, or a specific memory in mind.
Also open: Design Within Reach and Sur La Table.
Coming soon
Even more businesses are slated to open after October 1, according to organizers. The next round includes Austin-based restaurants 24 Diner and Sway, Sprinkles, Orangetheory Fitness, Life Is Good, Free People, Stag, Warby Parker, and many more. Happy shopping.
