Sound fun? Hell yeah it does. Throw all your images of a room full of people sitting serenely, chanting "ohm" out the window and get to Leigh Fisher's Punk Rock Yoga class at Black Swan Yoga's new South Austin location.
The vinyasa master class takes yogis through a fun, free spirited, fast flowing yoga experience set to an eclectic punk, rock and glam soundtrack.
"I believe that anyone can practice yoga, and everyone should," says Fisher. "I love vinyasa flow, a practice that's light hearted and challenging, so that's how I teach. I strive to create a joyful and safe atmosphere, and lead fun, high-energy classes that strike a balance between fast paced flowing movement and strong posture alignment."
