Make music with Apache, APA!'s handsome Catahoula Leopard mix

This week, Austin Pets Alive! would like to introduce you to Apache, a good-looking pooch still looking for a forever home. Thankfully, he has a friend in local musician Johnny Goudie, who along with other Austin musicians is helping Apache and other dogs find a home as part of APA!'s "Music and Mutts" series.

Name: Apache

Sex: Male

Breed: Catahoula Leopard mix

Adult size: Large

Age: 3 years, 6 months

Sign: Sagittarius

Spayed/neutered: Yes

Adoption donation: $75

Location: On site

What APA! says about Apache:

Apache understands basic commands, but he doesn't appear to have much experience on a leash. While APA! volunteers are working to improve these skills, his new home should be prepared to continue training him.

Though initially a bit shy, Apache warms to people fairly quickly. He is very affectionate and, like most dogs, loves a good belly rub.

Apache plays well with other dogs, so another furry friend may help him settle into his new home.

Why APA! says Apache deserves your love:

Apache is more than just good looks. He has the friendly attitude and willingness to learn that will make him a great fit with just about any family.
