Hello, Jerry!
Grab your puffy shirts — Seinfeld is coming to Austin
The man who has built is career on doing nothing is coming to Austin.
On Friday, Texas Performing Arts announced Jerry Seinfeld will perform live at Bass Concert Hall on Saturday, May 3. Seinfeld, of course, became a cultural icon after his '90s sitcom Seinfeld helped redefine comedy with its offbeat style and lessons on mundane etiquette. Attendees can look forward to Seinfeld performing his distinctive shtick of analyzing — and re-analyzing — the little things from our everyday lives.
Tickets range from $45-$125 and go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 7 at 10 am. If you want to get in on the presale access, you can join the Texas Inner Circle at the Back or Center Stage level. Just don't wait to buy your tickets, we expect these will sell out faster than Cosmo Kramer's disqualification from “The Contest.”
Seinfeld will stay busy during 2014 with a worldwide tour and filming his widely popular web series, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. Perhaps when he comes to Austin he'll do a special spin called Comedians in Pedicabs Getting Breakfast Tacos.
