Movies in the Park presents The NeverEnding Story
The Austin Parks Foundation and Alamo Drafthouse are ringing in summer with this free movie series. Bring a blanket or chair and a picnic dinner to Dick Nichols District Park and catch a screening of The NeverEnding Story.

Austin Civic Orchestra presents That '80s Concert
The Austin Civic Orchestra is celebrating the legacy of the 1980s with a free concert at Zilker Hillside Theater. The bill for the evening includes selections from Michael Jackson and Journey as well as scores from Back to the Future, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Fame and more. On top of that, one lucky audience member will be chosen to conduct the ending number.

Build, decorate and race your very own derby car using guitar wood scraps during this fun benefit for HAAM. The winner will get a sweet racing-themed Moniker custom guitar. Participation is free, but donations to HAAM are greatly encouraged.

QueerBomb
Each June, QueerBomb hosts an amazing celebration in honor of the LGBTQIA community. The event is broken up into three parts: the pre-party, the procession and the after-party. Meet up at Fair Market for the pre-party with guest speakers and music (and a full bar) before the procession down Sixth Street. The official after-party promises to be even more fun than the festivities before.
